Umpteenagers Senior Adult Ministry

The Umpteenagers is our largest Senior Adult Ministry with over fifty persons involved.  This is a group of 55+ aged persons who spend time together once a month, usually on the third Tuesday of the month. Senior Adult Sunday School ClassesUmpteenagers are an extremely active group.  We love to go on trips!  Over the past few years we have visited: Branson for 3 days, Tuttle (home of Braum's farms), the Marland Mansion in Ponca City, Historic Guthrie during Christmas time. About 6 times a year we hold catered luncheons at the church and have speakers. Our speakers have included authors, politicians, missionaries, Volunteers In Mission Team members who have gone to Bosnia to repair homes from the war, and speakers on the work of the church in Bolivia and Russia.  The Umpteenagers are a fun and exciting group to be around.  We laugh, we learn, and we become good friends.  We would love to have you come and join us.

Homebound Visitation

There is also a group who visits the homebound twice monthly, sharing worship service tapes, offering companionship and hope. If you'd like to be a part of this ministry, please contact Pat Bates at pat.bates@newhavenumc.org.
