Youth Director, Bill Mauldin

I was born in Tulsa, Ok March 28, 1977; named William Hower Mauldin after my Grandfathers. I was raised in Pryor Creek by my mother and visited my father on weekends.  My father was an Elder in the United Methodist Church, so always had an interest in the church.  My mother raised us ,my older sister Emily and I, in church; first we attended at Christ United Methodist here in Tulsa and later after she remarried we attended at First United Methodist in Pryor.

At 17 I went to live with my father and graduated from Tahlequah in 1996.  I was apart of an amazing youth ministry there, that continues to shape my life.  I began to attend college at NSU and became active in the Wesley Foundation there.  During the second semester of my Freshman year I became an Assistant Youth Minister in Stilwell, OK. 

The following summer I was offered a job as Youth Minister in Ft. Gibson, OK.  It was during this job I really began to grow in my faith and begin to feel called into full-time ministry.  I continued in school and took various jobs in ministry like Youth Minister in Clinton, OK and Assistant Family Councilor at the UM Boy's Ranch.  Eventually I graduated with a degree in Business and took a position at Claremore First United Methodist Church.
