All this and more is what your child will experience at New Haven Day School.  Our goal is to help your child experience and learn about God's love and to grow in every area – socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and intellectually. We follow the curriculum, standards, and guidelines of the National Association of Education for Young Children, so every child from 9 months through pre-kindergarten will participate in age-appropriate activities.  You will always know what your child is doing every school day, through calendar plans posted outside the classroom and sent home each month.  In addition, you will have the opportunity for regular conferences with your child's teacher.  A monthly newsletter and Parent Connection Bulletin Board will keep you up-to-date on school activities as a whole.

New Haven Day School also has a home for older children, through our Kindergarten Enrichment and Extended Day programs.  Children enrolled in Kindergarten Enrichment will do art projects, dramatic play, fitness games, and cooking, in addition to having free playtime. Children enrolled in the Extended Day program will also have playtime, fitness games, and arts and crafts, as well as homework time.

And of course, we want you to feel a part of New Haven Day School as well.  You will have access to our Parents' Lending Library and other parenting literature.  Our strong Parents Association sponsors monthly meetings and also offers opportunities every week for you to get together with other parents at coffee times and the park.  You can go on field trips with your child, attend special events like the annual Spaghetti Dinner, and watch your child be entranced by a visit from the Easter Bunny.
