In this Bible Study, Philip Yancey asks us to think about God’s grace... what it looks like,,, what it doesn’t look like… and how we as Christians, can reveal the grace the world is looking for.

Uppity Women of the BIBLE

This Bible study focuses on the book of Ruth using several engaging video sessions with Rev. Dr. Lisa Wolfe who will take us on an enlightening journey with a lively and thoughtful look at the Book of Ruth. Dr. Wolfe considers the vulnerability of widows and the difficult situation of foreigners in biblical times. She explores themes of loyalty, bitterness, courage, poverty and seduction. What really happened on the threshing room floor? Combining humor and careful scholarship, this study invites us to re-read the book with new insight and understanding for all its characters, especially the intelligent, confident – even uppity – heroine Ruth.

Sunday School Round-Up Day!

September 12th
We’re calling everyone to come be a part of Sunday school, as we “round up” our Adult Sunday school classes for another great year! Come, take a few moments to visit all of our adult classes as they set aside this day to decorate their classrooms with displays and provide lots of wonderful treats to eat. Stop in and talk with class members about their current and future study and fellowship plans. All are invited!!
